Karen

Karen is no stranger to tourism, having spent most of her adult life in the internationally renowned tourist town of Stowe, Vermont. With years of experience in the hospitality industry and co-owning a marketing business, she is exceptionally suited to expertly manage all aspects of your trip.

Karen has a deep love for Italy. She lived and studied in Rome for a year during college, returned many times as a tourist, lived in Florence for eight months, and has been living half-time in Rome for the past eight years. Her extensive knowledge of Italy, combined with her ability to see it through American eyes, enables her to create unique and special itineraries, together with Giacomo, for each guest.

Fun Fact About Karen:

For 15 years, Karen had a small farm where she raised meat chickens, egg-laying chickens, ducks, goats for dairy and meat, and alpacas for both fiber and meat. Her mission was to provide her family with the freshest, healthiest food all while adhering to the most humane and sustainable practices. Although she is no longer farming, Karen continues to apply her extensive knowledge in her quest for the highest quality food in Italy.

A 6th generation Roman, Giacomo is passionate about his country and eager to share its beauty and secrets with his guests. He embodies the Italian reputation for exceptional hospitality, warmth, humor, and friendliness. Giacomo attends to his guests’ every need, ensuring no detail is overlooked. With extensive experience in hospitality and management, he guarantees you will experience the finest Italian hospitality and be in good hands throughout your trip.

Fun fact about Giacomo: He was a professional dancer in his younger years, performing for Italian TV and conservatories in the US.
